The Montpellier Psychotherapy Practice: Southampton Row

The Montpellier Psychotherapy Practice was established in 2009 by Graeme Galton and Myriam Laplanche to meet the need for experienced and skilled psychotherapists in central London.

We provide psychotherapy and counselling to help clients with a variety of issues and emotional difficulties, including:

anxiety
depression
relationship and family problems
bereavement
stress and burn-out
addictions
self-harm
eating disorders
post-traumatic stress
dissociation
feeling stuck
facing a difficult life change
We offer short-term counselling and longer-term psychotherapy tailored to suit clients' specific needs. We provide psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalytic psychotherapy, relational psychotherapy and attachment-based psychotherapy.

Short-term counselling can be helpful when going through a difficult or challenging period, while longer-term psychotherapy can be more far-reaching and offer greater opportunity for personal change and development. The sessions are 50 minutes in length and take place at the same time on the same day each week. The charge for the initial consultation is £80. Following this, our fees range from £70 to £100 per session depending on time of day and circumstances.

We provide a safe and supportive setting for clients sharing difficult personal experiences and feelings. We practise safe, expert talking therapy marked by curiosity, respect and kindness.
